Mummytolittlee's Guide to Cheltenham, Gloucestershire
toddlers in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire
Cheltenham is a large spa town located on the edge of the Cotswolds in Gloucestershire. In the 1730’s Cheltenham’s medicinal waters were discovered and since then it’s been one of Britain's most popular spa towns. It’s still famous for its elegant avenues, fine parks and the architecture of the regency town houses that have been preserved to an exceptionally high standard. Intricate ironwork balconies and painted stucco facades line the historic leafy Promenade, squares and terraces. It’s a town brimming with stylish shops and restaurants, and award-winning gardens.

Cheltenham is the home of the flagship British steeplechase horse racing, the Gold Cup, and it also hosts several festivals of culture, including Greenbelt, Cheltenham Literature Festival, Cheltenham Jazz Festival, Cheltenham Science Festival, Cheltenham Music Festival and Cheltenham Food & Drink Festival.

Conveniently less than a hundred miles from London, Cheltenham provides easy access from all parts of the UK and is an ideal base for touring into the Cotswolds, Stratford upon Avon and Bath.

Mummytolittlee - our Cheltenham, Gloucestershire Blogger.
Hello! I’m Steph, a working mummy to two little boys – E, born in December 2010, and Bean, born January 2013. I blog at littleeandbean.com to record the good, the bad and the exhausting of life as a working mum of two rather energetic children! My blog is also where I indulge my passion for poetry, photography and feminism.
