For over 60 years we have been offering traditional style combined with modern facilities and a high standard of friendly, attentive service. Perhaps this is why so many of our guests choose to return to us time and time again. During your stay, why not take advantage of the hotel’s exclusive leisure facilities?
Enjoy a dip in our indoor pool, relax in the sauna or top up your fitness levels in our well-equipped gym. These facilities are available exclusively to our guests, so the atmosphere is always friendly and relaxed. Whether you want to work out or chill out, they’re just perfect.
Or if you fancy something a little less energetic, try your hand at pool or bar billiards in our beautiful oak panelled lounge. This is also an ideal spot to relax and read the papers or linger over a nightcap, with the added attraction of a log fire during the chillier months.
Bistro Wine Bar
ImageA warm welcome is guaranteed by a roaring log fire in the winter and our team of staff all year round. All of our rooms overlook the award winning gardens and are separated from the hotel bars and function suites by the hotel foyer ensuring you a peaceful night in this beautiful countryside setting.
We offer a range of packages to suit every guests need, from surprisingly great value golf breaks with your friends, family or work colleagues to corporate, conference, wedding and function bedroom bookings. The Walled Garden Bistro occupies the site of what was originally Barton Grange's kitchen vegetable plot. We felt that the garden with it's mellow brick walls and pergola would make a good foundation for our bistro - and we liked the idea of retaining it's culinary purpose - so we covered it with a roof and filled it with tables and chairs. Diners can now relax over their meals in the conservatory, enjoy semi-private dining in the summer house - or even gather around the sink in the old wash house, should they choose!
With prime farming land all around us and a host of specialist growers and producers making the most of it, we usually have access to plenty of fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables, as well as quality meats and cheeses. So while we can't guarantee that every ingredient we use was raised on our doorstep, we certainly do our best to bring you the cream of the local crop.
